So today I have a few items I want to give a shout out to that provided me with joy.
First off, lets talk about Coconut Tips.

I went to the health food store with my family, and these little guys jumped out at me. For one thing they are not healthy in the slightest bit. For a second thing I do not care because they are caramel and coconut wrapped into one beautiful little candy. Coconut is something you either love or hate. So for those of us who love it, these little boogers are the jack pot. They are not crunchy, they are not gooey, they are the perfect blend or soft and firm. They make your mouth water and your cavities zing. I had a couple of these and some orange juice once I got home from work and oh boy was I full of joy.
Second things second, lets talk about this adorable diary/journal type book I purchased from Barnes and Noble.
This is the Q&A a day 5 year journal. It's so sweet. The pages are edged in gold color and it is quite small but very thick. This little cutie will stay with you for 5 years. What do you do with it you ask? You open it to the date of the current day and it asks you a question and gives you a space to write the year and your answer to the question. The questions it asks are along the lines of "What is your biggest obstacle?" So in two or five years you can look back and see where you were versus where you are now. I love this! It's a great idea, everyday you can see how you felt by how you answered your question. So far I have answered two questions, so I have had it for two days. I love holding it, it makes me happy to write in it and in some small way, it provides me with structure and consistency!
Third things third! FREE BOOK FREE BOOK FREE BOOK!!!
So you see the book above, Poststructuralism and After, doesn't seem like a easy read bought for entertainment. Well that's because it wasn't!! I bought the Q & A book and this one was put in my box from Barnes and Noble for free! Or by accident. Regardless I got this neat book. Maybe this is the universes way of telling me to expand my knowledge? Maybe when I read this book I will realize my destiny and my passion for poststructuralism. Or maybe not. Regardless free things rock and this is giving me so much joy! I do enjoy learning and this is a subject I have never heard of, so we shall see where this goes.
Today my joy has sprouted from tangible objects, things that can be replaced, things I don't need. And sometimes, that's okay and it also isn't always true. Joy comes from all places and all spaces. Open your eyes to see it, and appreciate that it exists. <3
